We are located about 10 km south of Varanasi, on the banks of the river Ganga. We own land in two villages: Betawar and Chhitauni, separated by a natural canal, that carries rainwater overflow from several villages into the Ganga.
Our History
We started buying land in Betawar in 1996, with the hopes of reforesting a many-acre stretch of riverfront. However, it wasn’t (legally and practically) easy buying ancestral land from multiple owners and across generations! We ended up with a set of plots that are somewhat connected, totalling close to 10 acres. Not quite the original dream, but still a beautiful site with amazing potential.
